The Humble Squire coat of arms

Mission

To serve faithfully, build wisely, walk humbly, and proclaim boldly.

The Mission of Humble Squire is to glorify God by serving as faithful ambassadors of Jesus Christ; bringing truth, mercy, wisdom, and practical service into the places where people live, work, struggle, and gather.

Faithful Ambassadors

There are no citizens among us. There are only Ambassadors: free, voluntary servants who carry peace, truth, stewardship, mercy, and the light of Christ.

Practical Service

No work is beneath a Squire. We carry, repair, teach, feed, plant, build, and leave people and places better than we found them.

The Lantern Lit

We seek to carry the Lantern of Truth into dark places, sharpen one another as iron sharpens iron, and remain humble squires in service to the one true King.

Covenant

We are not gathered to escape the world. We are gathered to serve it.

This Covenant is not a prison. It is an invitation. Its fulfillment is not perfection. Its fulfillment is faithful walking.

  • Seek peace before conflict.
  • Seek understanding before judgment.
  • Speak clearly and honestly.
  • Ask questions with humility.
  • Respect the dignity of every person.
  • Serve before seeking status.
  • Protect the vulnerable.
  • Steward land, tools, time, relationships, and gifts.
  • Carry hope where fear has taken root.
  • Walk in truth even when it costs us.
  • Remember that disagreement is not hatred.
  • Reject manipulation, coercion, intimidation, and needless conflict.
